In 2007, there was many international school grew up in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. One of them, could be the most infamous one, was known as AIS; American International School. One immense problem that occurred in this school was the full American program and the well behaviors. Although it wasn’t the only international school in Ho Chi Minh city, but it was the only one which had the iron rules for every stthe mysterious death right after the 3rd quarter of the 2nd year AIS has existed …
At first, AIS was the most perfect school for students who wanted to study and having the well-behaviors. So, the parents wouldn’t worry about their children when they went to the school. More than that, the background, or I mean the past working of the principal of AIS would satisfy the parents. He used to be the vice principal of one famous university in the U.S. And at that time, he accepted the invitation of the director of AIS and came to VN to be the principal. He was well educated and had a lot of experiences in academic. So, with some people’s prediction, the school must be well organized by the professional principal.
After the 1st quarter has just ended, the brilliant of AIS had the new idea in teaching. And on the meeting of all the teachers every single week, he published it. His idea was to open a new club or class, I should say, after school. The students in this special class would be chosen by him, the principal. He wanted to teach more knowledge and social skills for some best students in each class. So on, when AIS had the competition with the other schools, the group of students that he has taught would represent for the whole school. This was noticed as the first greatest idea to the academic of AIS since it was opened in 2007.
At first, this plan was successfully for all the students who studied with him. They said that he had taught them so many new things, excited and funny too. It didn’t make the students tired or lazy at all, it seemed to help them a lot in the lessons in class time. But, as time went by, there were some complains from few teachers that some students in the special class had some problem with their work. Some of them were not as smart as before. That sounded very strange, right? They had been trained by the brilliant principal of the high quality school, so, what was the reason that made them went down? It seemed like an unsolvable problem for all the school. However, any student that used to studied in the afterschool-class and their tests scores had went down, they couldn’t study with the principal anymore. They were dismissed from the class.
One day, a student from grade 8 named Henry, he was the laziest student in the whole school, I should say. He usually cut the classes and hid in the clinic room. Normally, at that day, Henry also did it. He went straight up to the fifth floor; where the clinic room located. He knew that at that time in everyday, the nurse went out for some problems, so he abused it to hide himself. As everyday life with Henry, he laid on the bed and fell as sleep quickly. But today, he forgot something very important that he didn’t turn on the alarm bell. It helped him to wake up on time and went home. But today, he didn’t remember that. And this was the biggest problem he had made, he forgot the time and slept until 8 pm; which meant at that time, he was in the school alone.
He woke up and felt a little bit afraid. Because all the light in the school were totally been shut off. He calmed himself down for a while and stepped out of the clinic. He tried to find the stairs to go down and come home. Slowly, he went down, down, down and down to the lobby at the ground. Suddenly, he heard some noises from somewhere around the lobby. He followed the noise and it leaded him to the principal office. The door of this room was opened just a little. Curiosity came to Henry, and he went through the door into the office. He went around and checked the room and the noise too. Suddenly, he found out that under the principal’s table had a big hole which leads to the secret underground room. He went down by the stairs to the secret room. Slowly, he heard the strange noise more clearly. His prediction was it is the sound of the mechanical machine. He went deeper into the ground and suddenly, he saw something very horrible, and it was surprising him. Do you know what he saw ??! He saw the principal. What was he doing there? He was using the high technology machine and put it against a student head. The cruel machine span into the head and took out one - half of the student’s brain out.
Henry was a coward boy so he screamed out loud and ran quickly onto the ground. But poor him, I wish that he wouldn’t shout it but slowly and quietly leave the room. And maybe he could survive. But, there was the truth, he did scream. The principal or truly the monster, I should say. He heard the noise and chased Henry. As the time Henry put his first step on the ground, the yak monster has used the space’s power to make him freeze for a while. Then, Henry started to lose his breath, more and more; oxygen couldn’t enter into his body. And of course, he began to die. His body just freezed there and didn’t fall down.
The next morning, one security of the AIS called the police to come. The police worked very long to find out the clue to solve the problem. But for a long time, although they had investigated every small detail in the school, they couldn’t find anything. However, the principal was lost. No one has ever seen him anymore. Many theory has occurred that the alien was coming from the space and took away the principal, killed the student. However, it was still a theory; no one was sure about it. So, it was called the mysterious death of AIS. From this story, no parents have accepted to give their children into the AIS anymore. They all left the school and found another better one for their kids. And also, since that time, AIS was slowly been blown away from everyone’s mind.
